Editorial Checklist

Tick each item you are satisfied with. Unticked items will reduce your score and generate specific improvement notes.

Verification & Accuracy

Every key factual claim is attributed to a named source, document, or dataset.

The main claim is corroborated by at least 2 independent sources or 1 strong primary document.

IEBC & Results Integrity

Election results are clearly labeled as 'Provisional' or 'Official' with a timestamp and source.

Data from Form 34As/Bs is presented as 'tallies from specific stations', not as final national declarations.

Fairness & Right of Reply

Anyone accused or implicated has been given a fair opportunity to respond, and their response (or refusal) is included.

Allegations and opinions are clearly distinguished from proven facts in language and structure.

Harm, Hate Speech & Incitement

The draft avoids ethnic generalisations, stereotypes, coded hostility, or inflammatory framing.

You have assessed potential real-world harm (panic, violence, intimidation) and minimised it.

Transparency & Privacy

You disclose what is unknown or uncertain and do not overclaim.

No unnecessary personal data is exposed (IDs, phone numbers, GPS coordinates, private citizen details).

Audit Report
